Community Connectors
Monthly from October through May they provide the opportunity to serve others locally through hands-on projects in our community.
Community Meals
A team organizes and cooks and others from the congregation help serve a free community meal in Ephrata a few times a year.
The Lord’s Fair Share
The Lord’s Fair Share is comprised of a team from HMC that operates a food stand at the Ephrata Fair and donates the proceeds to local ministries.
Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center
A team from church ministers to the youth at LCYIC the 4th Friday of each month. A devotional is shared, games are often played and then share a snack with the youth.
Love INC
We meet the needs in our community brought to us through Love in the Name of Christ.
Clothing Bank
Annually we have a free clothing bank for the community.
Outreach Teams:
Cross-Cultural Team
Each year we send out short term cross-cultural teams. Some past trips have been to Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, and Mayreau.
MDS (Mennonite Disaster Service) Team
Annually a team travels to serve with MDS at different locations in the U.S. that have been affected by natural disasters.
ReNew Hope Team
In January each year, a team travels to Alabama to serve with We Care in their prison ministry.
The Ephrata Project
In July we work with a network of churches in the Ephrata area to assist families with home repair projects and point them to a relationship with Jesus.
